Use of special form of e-mail address (RFC violation address)

2025-04-08

Thank you for your continued patronage of the Tiger Parts Shop.

We would like to inform our customers who are currently using our parts store with a special form of e-mail address (RFC violation address).
Due to the renewal of this site, from April 17, 2025 (Thursday), orders will no longer be able to be placed if the email address of the person placing the order is an RFC violation.

Also, if you have registered as a member using a special form of e-mail address (RFC violation address), your past order history will not be transferred.
Please change your e-mail address to another e-mail address from the Parts Shop membership page or TIGER FOREST.

What is RFC (Request For Comment)?
RFC (Request For Comment) is a set of international Internet technology rules (specifications and requirements) officially issued by the IETF, an organization that defines Internet technology standards.
However, Japanese carrier e-mails (au, docomo, etc.) allowed registration of e-mail addresses that violated the above RFC until April 2009. (After April 2009, registration is not allowed.)
Until November 2015, google had taken measures to allow sending to RFC-violating e-mail addresses only to ezweb and docomo, but as of November 2015, this measure has been removed, and the original specification is that sending to RFC-violating e-mail addresses is not possible.
