Tiger Corporation (President: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka) (“Tiger” or “we”), a world leader in thermal control technology, will release the Vacuum Insulated Bottles MMZ-50D on Monday, August 21, 2023.
These products designed based on the Disney 100 themes in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Disney will be sold in a limited quantity only on Tiger’s official online stores*. The lineup features three designs of popular Disney characters: Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck, Pooh & Tigger, and Darth Vader from Star Wars.
The stopper has an antibacterial finish while the inner surface of the bottle has the Super Clean Plus finish that prevents stains and odors, and in this way the MMZ-K50D series features Tiger’s proprietary BioGuard hygiene design, so that you can use the bottle safely.

In 2023, Disney celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding. In commemoration of this anniversary, Tiger Corporation will release a limited series of vacuum-insulated bottles specifically designed based on the Disney 100 themes.

Using an antibacterial stoper and Super Clean Plus
(2) Tiger’s proprietary BioGuard hygiene design
The MMZ-K50D uses Tiger’s proprietary BioGuard hygiene design, which features a Super Clean Plus finish on the inner surface and an antibacterial lid, stopper, and stopper cover.

The SIAA-certified plug with an antibacterial finish satisfies the three criteria of antimicrobial properties that prevent the growth of bacteria, safety that meets the uniquely established safety criteria, and appropriate labeling about the antibacterial finish or materials used.

The SIAA marks are symbols for antibacterial properties established by the Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles.
Products that meet the three criteria of [1] antimicrobial properties (*1), [2] safety (*2) and [3] appropriate labeling (*3) may carry the SIAA mark.
(*1) The proportion of bacteria on the surface of the product must be equal to or less than 1/100 that of a non-treated product, and the antimicrobial effect must remain after durability tests. Antimicrobial properties are determined from the results of tests conducted in accordance with the international standard ISO 22196.
(*2) The safety criteria uniquely established by SIAA must be met.
(*3) The types of antibacterial agents used and parts treated must be clearly indicated.
Super Clean Plus finish to resist stains, odors, and rust
The inner surface of the bottle does not use an environmentally hazardous fluorine coating. Instead, it is made with our proprietary Super Clean Plus electrolytic polishing technology to achieve the same level of stain resistance. The smooth, glossy finish prevents stains and odors, allowing the bottle to be kept clean with a quick wash.
The surface is also resistant to rusting, allowing you to put a sports drink in the bottle. (Clean the bottle immediately after use.)

The rim boasts both the cleanliness and pleasant drinking experience of stainless steel.
The upper part of the rim was curled to reproduce the mouth feel of a mug.

Superior Temperature Retention
Tiger’s vacuum insulation technology keeps drinks hot or cold for about six hours. The copper foil between the two stainless steel walls supports temperature retention. Cold drinks will not cause condensation to form on the outside of the bottle, and hot drinks will not make the bottle too hot to hold.
Entirely washable body
The main body can be washed as a whole, so it is easy to clean.

- The heat insulation effect is the temperature of water in the bottle one to six hours after it is filled with hot water at 95±1°C and placed in an upright position and left standing at a room temperature of 20±2°C.
