In order to increase the cutting power of the blender, the blade assembly has been redesigned from scratch. Rather than the typical level surface, the blades of this product are mounted on a 45-degree incline. Thanks to the new 45-degree angle, the blender achieves a cutting power capable of crushing whole apples and avocados*, as well as a stirring power that can blend even kale and other leafy greens to a smooth consistency. Background to the development
We began development of this product by looking at the many existing blenders with blades mounted on a level surface and asking ourselves, “Is this really the best angle for mounting blender blades?” Approximately 3 years and 7 months after the start of development, we arrived at the new 45-degree angle for the blender after making numerous adjustments to the shape of the cup, the mounting angle of the blade, and the angles at which the blades curve. Over 127 prototypes were created and tested.
Because the blades are mounted at an angle, the product boasts immense cutting power, allowing it to crush even apples and avocados whole. It is also capable of blending store-bought ice* and frozen fruit, which many existing products are unable to do. The product also allows you to spend less time cutting ingredients in advance. This solves the issue of troublesome preparation work, which is a common problem for blender users, and brings out the flavor and nutrients.
In addition, the inclined design of the machine creates water vortexes that pull ingredients up and down. Because of this, kale and other leafy greens that are not easily broken down can be turned into a blend that is smooth to drink. The ease with which various ingredients can be placed directly into the cup brings comfort and leisure to daily life.
