The coffee maker is capable of extracting from two to up to eight cups of coffee*. Absence of a heater to keep the extracted coffee warm prevents the coffee from being boiled down and its flavor and aroma from being lost and saves energy. With an excellent low-temperature insulation effect, the server can also keep iced coffee cold. The condensation-proof surface eliminates the need to worry about getting the table wet even if the server is put directly on the table.

Safe and sure antibacterial-finished handle and lever
To allow you enjoy delicious coffee more safely and with more ease at home or in your office, the handle and lever of the vacuum-insulated stainless steel server have an antibacterial-finish certified by the Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles (SIAA).

The proportion of bacteria on the surface of the product must be equal to or less than 1/100 that of a non-treated product, and the antimicrobial effect must remain after durability tests. Antimicrobial properties are determined from the results of tests conducted in accordance with the international standard ISO 22196.

The safety criteria uniquely established by SIAA must be met.

The types of antibacterial agents used and parts treated must be clearly indicated.

The SIAA marks are symbols for Kohkin (or antibacterial) established by the Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles.

The products that meet the three criteria of [1] Antimicrobial properties*1, [2] Safety*2 and [3] Appropriate labeling*3 may carry the SIAA marks.

For the ACE-V series, a polypropylene resin with a silver-based (Ag-based) antibacterial-finish is used (for the parts listed as tested parts below).

Four selectable extraction courses (mild, strong, ice, and drip bag)

In addition to the “Mild,” “Strong,” and “Iced” courses to select a desired taste to suit your preference, the new “Drip bag” course lets you enjoy just a cup of coffee. In the “Iced” course, coffee is extracted into the server containing ice and rapidly cooled, so that you can really enjoy the iced coffee.

“Microcontroller-controlled blooming and dripping” and “shower dripping” to allow the coffee grounds to bloom adequately and extract coffee

The amount of hot water to pour and pouring time are controlled by the microcontroller. First, a small amount of hot water is poured over the coffee grounds to allow the coffee grounds to bloom. Then, hot water is poured evenly over the coffee grounds by “shower dripping” to adequately extract the flavor released in the blooming process.

Filter holder with long ribs
The long ribs arranged inside the filter holder make some space between the paper and filter holder, causing thorough “blooming” to extract a deep and rich flavor of coffee. You can enjoy a mild taste of coffee with little unpleasant bitter or astringent taste. Use a commercially available paper filter of the size 1×4 or 103.

Coffee can be dripped directly into your drinks bottle

You can put your drinks bottle on the coffee maker to drip coffee directly into it. If your bottle is short, you can use the accompanying cup stand to prevent coffee from splattering. The water tank is graduated so that you can see how much coffee will be poured in your drinks bottle. (180, 240, 300, and 360) *A drinks bottle without a stopper and with a height of up to about 17 cm can fit in the coffee maker.
