Features

Far-infrared ceramic coating that brings out the good flavors of rice as much as a clay pot does

The inner surface of the metal pot has Tiger’s proprietary ceramic material coating.

The inner pot with the three-layer structure is heated efficiently. The far-infrared radiation effect is enhanced and fine bubbles are produced to distribute moisture evenly to every grain so that fluffy sticky rice can be cooked. The outer surface of the pot also has the ceramic coating to increase heat storage performance and transmit high heat to the pot.

Coating the entire surface of the inner pot with the ceramic material ensures that more fluffy delicious rice is cooked.

High-heat Powerful IH

Powerful IH (Powerful induction heating) that brings out the sweetness and original flavor of rice. The bottom and wall of the inner pot are heated as if the entire inner pot was encompassed by a strong fire so that the cooked rice can be plump to the core.

The rice is also steamed at high temperatures of 110 to 115°C, which accelerates gelatinization of the rice to bring out the original sweetness (flavor) of the rice.

The “Small Portion and Quick” / “Frozen Rice” settings very useful for quick meal preparation are offered!

“Small Portion and Quick” setting

The setting to cook 1 go in about 17 minutes* is provided to allow you to eat freshly cooked rice on busy days.

Thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect and heat storage performance of the inner pot with heat-sealing ceramic coating and the excellent heat conductivity of the multi-layered pot, heat is efficiently transferred to the rice in each of the water absorption, heating, and steaming processes, enabling rice to be cooked quickly.

*This is the time taken when a small amount (1 go) of white rice is cooked with the 1.0 L capacity rice cooker. It takes about 20 minutes to cook 2 go of rice with the 1.8 L capacity rice cooker. At a room temperature of 23°C and water temperature of 23°C. The time required for cooking may vary depending on the type of rice and room and water temperatures.

“Frozen Rice” setting

In order to prevent defrosted cooked rice from being pasty or dry, the rice is given a longer time to absorb water in this menu setting than in the White Rice setting. This means the cooked rice will not be pasty but plump to the core and the delicious flavor can be kept after the rice is frozen. You can keep your freezer stocked with frozen rice to allow you to enjoy the “delicious taste of freshly cooked rice” anytime.

Frozen Rice

Three different cooking settings for white rice

“Eco” setting

The smart setting to cook rice and save money on electricity

“White Rice” setting

The standard setting to bring out good flavors of rice by using high heat to raise the temperature and continuously boil the rice

“Premium” setting

The luxurious setting to bring out all of the sweetness, springiness, aroma, stickiness, and softness that Tiger considers necessary for delicious rice.

Glazed inner lid to keep rice warm and delicious

The inner lid has a hydrophilic coating.

It is difficult for water to form droplets on the coated surface of the lid, and, when heated, moisture quickly evaporates so that unwanted moisture can be removed. When the rice is kept warm in the rice cooker, the surface of the lid is covered with a film of moisture so that the rice can be kept moist. Water does not form droplets easily on the coated surface and so water does not drip onto the cooked rice.

The lid is designed to be easy to remove and clean.
