High-heat Powerful IH

“Powerful IH (Powerful induction heating)” that brings out the sweetness and original flavor of rice.
The bottom and wall of the inner pot are heated as if the entire inner pot was encompassed by a strong fire so that the cooked rice can be plump to the core. The rice is also steamed at high temperatures of 110 to 115°C, which accelerates gelatinization of the rice to bring out the original sweetness (flavor) of the rice.

Three different cooking settings for white rice

“Eco” setting

The smart setting to cook rice and save money on electricity

“White Rice” setting

The standard setting to bring out good flavors of rice by using high heat to raise the temperature and continuously boil the rice

“Premium” setting

The luxurious setting to bring out all of the sweetness, springiness, aroma, stickiness, and softness that Tiger considers necessary for delicious rice.

The cooking settings that allow you to enjoy a variety of recipes

In addition to the three different cooking settings for white rice, you can enjoy good flavors of the variety of rice to be brought out in the provided cooking settings including: “Mixed Grains,” “Porridge,” “Brown Rice,” “Sweet,” and “Mixed.”

“Brown Rice GABA Plus” setting

On this setting, it takes four to five hours to cook brown rice to help the enzymes contained in the brown rice work.
The level of GABA in the brown rice cooked in this setting is higher than that in brown rice cooked normally by about 40% (based on our research).
The brown rice cooked in this setting has a springy texture and better flavors.

“Quick Cook” setting

On this setting, a rapid temperature rise is caused by high-heat cooking and the steaming time is shortened to cook delicious rice quickly.
This setting is recommended for when you’re having a busy day, or when you want to have just a little more rice.

“Mixed Grains” setting

This setting is for cooking rice with mixed grains, which is popular among people because they can supplement their diets with abundant nutrients by eating rice with mixed grains.

“Cake” setting
This fun-to-use setting allows you easily to bake a soft sponge cake like a whole cake.

Energy saving symbol

These symbols indicate the energy-saving performance of the products that bear the symbols. The green symbol is for models that meet the energy conservation standard, and the orange symbol is for models that do not meet the standards.
Choose a product with reference to these symbols. The “energy conservation standard achievement rate” or “achievement rate” indicates how much the product has achieved the 2008 target value specified in the Act on Rationalizing Energy Use.
The higher the percentage, the better the energy efficiency.
