Features
Oven-effect, heat-trapping ceramic pot coating (nine-layer, far-infrared, extra-thick inner pot) that causes natural convection to stir up rice
3-year warranty on the inner pot
We provide a 3-year warranty for the inner pot so that the product can be used for many years.
Variable double pressure
Two pressure balls, one large and one small, are controlled to cook the rice thoroughly, bringing out the stickiness of the rice. A pressure of 1.25 atm is applied during cooking to bring out the stickiness and springiness of the rice. After cooking, a pressure of 1.05 atm is applied to steam the rice at high temperatures so that firm rice grains can be produced with minimal clumping.
Pot-encasing IH close to heating in an oven
The IH heater encasing the inner pot heats a larger surface area of the pot. With this “pot-encasing IH” technique, a higher heat and heat storage performance have been achieved. Heating a larger surface area of the pot increases the amount of heat applied to the rice, bringing out the natural sweetness of the rice.
“Small Portion and Quick” / “Frozen Rice” settings
“Small Portion and Quick” setting
The setting to cook 1 go in about 17 minutes is provided to allow you to eat freshly cooked rice on busy days.
Thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect and heat storage performance of the inner pot with heat-sealing ceramic coating and the excellent heat conductivity of the multi-layered pot, heat is efficiently transferred to the rice in each of the water absorption, heating, and steaming processes, enabling rice to be cooked quickly.
“Frozen Rice” setting
This setting employs a program that allows you to cook delicious rice suitable for freezing. In order to prevent defrosted cooked rice from being pasty or hard, the rice is given a longer time to absorb water in this menu setting than in the White Rice setting, so that the cooked rice will not be pasty but plump to the core and the delicious flavor can be kept after the rice is frozen.
Compact 360° Design that blends with the kitchen interior
The model is equipped with the pressure mechanism but is as compact as other models without the pressure mechanism thanks to the ingenious design. The compact but highly functional 360° Design is the result of our quest for a sophisticated design.
The 360° Design rice cooker with a flat back looks stunning even when it is placed on an island kitchen counter.
To provide a classy texture, delicate pattern processing that creates a sense of depth is added to the top surface.
Illuminated LCD screen that displays easy-to-read text
The text on the LCD is illuminated to make the text easy to read while you are operating the rice cooker or when the rice cooker is in operation. The backlight and indications are off under normal conditions. The light goes off when the product is unplugged.
In addition, the buttons and the layout of the LCD are arranged in a way that makes it easy to see and use, and comfortable for the user.
The compact rice cooker is also a perfect fit for a living room
The rice cooker can neatly fit a kitchen of the designer brand or your favorite shelf.
It can also blend in with your interior decor.
*Keep the rice cooker away from walls and furniture when using it, as the steam and heat emitted from it can cause damage, discoloration, and deformation of the walls and furniture.
When using kitchen storage cabinets (sliding drawers), take the following precautions.
- Provide sufficient space above the steam vent.
- Prevent steam from accumulating inside.
- Do not expose the operation panel and the plug to the steam emitted from the product.
- Pull out the sliding drawer when using the product to prevent the parts from being exposed to the steam.
- Check the load capacity of the surface on which the product is to be placed before use.
Glazed inner lid to keep rice warm and delicious
The inner lid has a hydrophilic coating. It is difficult for water to form droplets on the thin coated surface of the lid, and, when heated, moisture quickly evaporates so that unwanted moisture can be removed. When the rice is kept warm in the rice cooker, the surface of the lid is covered with a film of moisture so that the rice can be kept moist. Water does not form droplets easily on the coated surface and so water does not drip onto the cooked rice.
The “Barley Rice” settings bring out the delicious taste of barley so that you can eat barley rice every day
The Barley Rice settings specialized for cooking white rice with barley rich in soluble fiber are provided. The rice cooking programs tailored to the characteristics of two types of barley allow its characteristic odor to be suppressed and delicious taste to be delivered so that you can eat barley rice every day.
“Barley Rice (Rolled Barley)” setting
On this setting, the two-stage water absorption process appropriate for white rice and barley is enabled.
“Barley Rice (Sticky Barley)” setting
This setting allows the rice to absorb water well and be cooked at high temperatures so that odors specific to barley can be suppressed.
“Barley Rice Porridge” setting
In this setting, easy-to-eat delicious recipes that are good for your health can be cooked.
Three different cooking settings for white rice
“Eco” setting
The smart standard setting to cook rice and save money on electricity
In this setting, the rice is heated at a relatively low temperature in the water absorption process and then heated with high heat that is only possible with IH.
When boiling begins, heat is controlled in a smart way to the minimum level at which boiling can be maintained.
The steaming process to cook rice by steaming with remaining heat while minimizing power consumption is enabled only with Tiger’s unique technique to control heat based on the characteristics of rice.
“White Rice” setting
The setting to bring out good flavors of rice by using high heat to raise the temperature and continuously boil the rice
In this setting, after the water temperature is increased to let the rice absorb water sufficiently, the rice is heated with high heat that is only possible with IH.
Then, heating is continued at the same level even after steam is emitted to continuously boil the rice. In the cooking process, heat and moisture are given to the rice while boiling is being maintained with intense heat. In the end, heating is further continued to evaporate excess moisture and cook firm and fluffy rice. This is the rice cooking setting that Tiger is proud of.
“Premium” setting
The luxurious setting to bring out all of the sweetness, springiness, aroma, stickiness, and softness that Tiger considers necessary for delicious rice
In this setting, twice the time taken in the “White Rice” setting is used to let the rice absorb water and then the rice is heated with high heat.
Heating is continued at the same level even after steam is emitted to continuously boil the rice for a longer time, and sufficient heat and moisture are given to the rice while boiling is being maintained with more intense heat than in the “White Rice” setting.
In the end, heating is further continued to evaporate excess moisture and cook firm and fluffy rice. This is the rice cooking setting that Tiger is proud of.
Cleaning
Only three parts are removable, making it easy to clean the rice cooker
(1) Inner pot
(2) Inner lid (removable)
(3) Steam cap
The parts are easy to remove, making it easy to clean the rice cooker each time. When you clean the product, you can handle it without worries.
Easy-to-wipe top surface with little unevenness
Easy-to-clean frame with grained surface
Scraps of starch can be peeled off the surface easily.

- The energy consumption per rice cooking cycle and the energy consumption per hour for keeping warm are the values in the “Eco” setting. (Factory settings) Energy consumption varies depending on the amount of rice cooked and the setting used.
Energy saving symbol
These symbols indicate the energy-saving performance of the products that bear the symbols. The green symbol is for models that meet the energy conservation standard, and the orange symbol is for models that do not meet the standard. Choose a product with reference to these symbols. The “achievement rate of energy conservation standard” or “achievement rate” indicates how much the product has achieved the 2008 target value specified in the Act on Rationalizing Energy Use. The higher the percentage, the better the energy efficiency.
