Features

Heat-trapping ceramic pot coating that reproduces high heat storage performance equivalent to that of a clay pot

[Inside of the pot] Far-infrared ceramic coating

The coating enhances the far-infrared radiation effect, causing the rice and water to boil with fine bubbles as if the rice was cooked in a clay pot.

[Outside of the pot] Heat-trapping ceramic pot coating

In addition to the ceramic inner pot material coating, it incorporates hollow glass beads to improve the heat storage performance.

The far-infrared thick inner pot composed of five layers of stainless steel and aluminum quickly and fully transmits heat to rice to cook the rice evenly fluffy and plump to the core.

Pressure cooking with the ceramic inner pot for springy and firm textures

A pressure of 1.25 atm is applied during cooking to raise the temperature inside the inner pot to approximately 106°C, bringing out the stickiness and sweetness of the rice.

3-year warranty on the inner pot

We provide a 3-year warranty for the inner pot so that the product can be used for many years.

“Small Portion and Quick” / “Frozen Rice” settings to cook delicious rice on busy days

“Small Portion and Quick” setting

The setting to cook 1 go in about 17 minutes* is provided to allow you to eat freshly cooked rice on busy days. Thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect and heat storage performance of the inner pot with heat-sealing ceramic coating and the excellent heat conductivity of the multi-layered pot, heat is efficiently transferred to the rice in each of the water absorption, heating, and steaming processes, enabling rice to be cooked quickly.

*This is the time taken when 1 go of white rice is cooked with the 1.0 L capacity rice cooker. It takes about 20 minutes to cook 2 go of rice with the 1.8 L capacity rice cooker.

“Frozen Rice” setting

This setting employs a program that allows you to cook delicious rice suitable for freezing. In order to prevent defrosted cooked rice from being dry or defrosted rice reheated in a microwave oven from being pasty, the rice is given a longer time to absorb water in this menu setting than in the White Rice setting. This means the cooked rice will not be pasty but plump to the core and the delicious flavor can be kept after the rice is frozen. You can keep your freezer stocked with frozen rice to allow you to enjoy the “delicious taste of freshly cooked rice” anytime.

The “Sushi/Curry” and “Bento” settings to cook rice to the desired doneness

The “Sushi/Curry” setting produces grainy rice perfect for hand-rolled sushi and curry.
The “Bento” setting is to cook rice that is springy even when eaten cold and suitable for a packed lunch.

The “Barley Rice” settings bring out the delicious taste of barley so that you can eat barley rice every day

“Barley Rice” setting

The Barley Rice settings specialized for cooking white rice with barley rich in soluble fiber are provided. The rice cooking programs tailored to the characteristics of two types of barley allow its characteristic odor to be suppressed and delicious taste to be delivered so that you can eat barley rice every day.

“Barley Rice (Rolled Barley)” setting

On this setting, a two-stage water absorption process appropriate for white rice and barley is enabled.

“Barley Rice (Sticky Barley)” setting

This setting allows the rice to absorb water well and be cooked at high temperatures so that odors specific to barley can be suppressed.

Allowing you to easily cook healthy rice

Mixed Grains

This setting produces plump, delicious rice with mixed grains, which is usually difficult to cook in consideration of the right amount of water absorbed.

Brown Rice

This setting produces plump, delicious brown rice, which is usually difficult to cook with the right amount of water and heat.

Three different cooking settings for white rice

“Eco” setting

The smart setting to cook rice and save money on electricity
In this setting, the rice is heated at a relatively low temperature in the water absorption process and then heated with high heat that is only possible with IH.
When boiling begins, heat is controlled in a smart way to the minimum level at which boiling can be maintained.
The steaming process to cook rice by steaming with remaining heat while minimizing power consumption is enabled only with Tiger’s unique technique to control heat based on the characteristics of rice.

“White Rice” setting

The standard setting to bring out good flavors of rice by using high heat to raise the temperature and continuously boil the rice
In this setting, after water temperature is increased to let the rice absorb water sufficiently, the rice is heated with high heat that is only possible with IH. Then, heating is continued at the same level even after steam is emitted to continuously boil the rice.
In the cooking process, heat and moisture are given to the rice while boiling is being maintained with intense heat. In the end, heating is further continued to evaporate excess moisture and cook firm and fluffy rice.

“Premium” setting

The luxurious setting to bring out all of the sweetness, springiness, aroma, stickiness, and softness that Tiger considers necessary for delicious rice
In this setting, twice the time taken in the “White Rice” setting is used to let the rice absorb water and then the rice is heated with high heat.
Heating is continued at the same level even after steam is emitted to continuously boil the rice for a longer time, and sufficient heat and moisture are given to the rice while boiling is being maintained with more intense heat than in the “White Rice” setting.
In the end, heating is further continued to evaporate excess moisture and cook firm and fluffy rice. This is the rice cooking setting that Tiger is proud of.

The compact rice cooker is also a perfect fit for a living room

Its short form allows the rice cooker to fit neatly into a pull-out kitchen rack.
It can also blend in with your interior decor.

*Keep the rice cooker away from walls and furniture when using it, as the steam and heat emitted from it can cause damage, discoloration, and deformation of the walls and furniture.
When using kitchen storage cabinets (sliding drawers), take the following precautions.

  • Provide sufficient space above the steam vent.
  • Prevent steam from accumulating inside.
  • Keep steam away from the operation panel and the plug.
  • Pull out the sliding drawer when using the product to prevent the parts from being exposed to the steam.
  • Check the load capacity of the surface on which the product is to be placed before use.

Simple, large LCD screen

On the clear, large bright gray LCD screen, text is clear and easy to read, and the easy-to-operate key layout makes daily use stress-free.
