THE BEST GREEN SMOOTHIE
When it comes to healthy smoothie recipes, we think there should be a couple of requirements. They need to be easy to make. But, more importantly, they must be delicious. Let’s be real here. If superfoods taste good going down in liquid form, you’ll want to drink them. Bonus if they happen to be good for you in the process. This vegan kale smoothie is loaded with the leafy greens your body needs to operate at peak performance, and the perfect amount of natural sweetness from peaches and pineapple. Plus, there’s a creamy smoothness from plant based almond milk.

THE BIG TIME SAVER: FROZEN FRUIT
To make morning routines as simple as possible, we love using frozen fruit for smoothies. Frozen fruit is actually fresh fruit that has been flash frozen at peak ripeness, so you’re getting all the vitamins and minerals. But this accomplishes two distinct additional things:
- Your smoothie will always be ice cold without having to resort to adding ice. Room temperature kale smoothies aren’t against the rules or anything, but, trust us, they’re much better cold.
- It makes the process easy. You can either pick up bags of frozen peaches and pineapple at the grocery store. Or buy fresh fruit, slice it into chunks and bulk freeze it in storage containers so your morning goes as smoothly as possible..
HOW TO MAKE A KALE SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE
To whip up this green smoothie recipe at home, simply load the pineapple, peaches, mint, grated ginger and almond milk into your Tiger blender. Blend for a minute at the 8 speed setting. If you’re taking your time and savoring it, garnish the serving glasses with mint leaves and sip away. But if you’re headed to the gym, we won’t tell if you gulp it straight out of the blender jar. Your secret is safe with us!
