Matcha Superfood Smoothie

A special collaboration recipe with Yamamasa Koyamaen

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 tbsp Latte Grade Matcha (powder)
  • 1 1/3 cups (14.1 oz) Coconut Water
  • 1 1/3 cups (7.05 oz) Apple, peeled, removed seeds and core, and cut into 8 pieces
  • 4 leaves (1.41 oz) Kale
  • 1 tbsp (0.35 oz) Chia seeds, rehydrated with water
  • 2/5 cup (3.5 oz) Water (to rehydrate chia seeds)

Directions

  • Place ingredients other than matcha into a container, add matcha and firmly secure the lid.
  • Turn the dial to start the blender and set the speed to “10”. Blend for 1 minute. Serve in a glass.

If the kale has thick stems or large leaves, tear it into 2-3 pieces and place them in a blender container.

Recommended matcha: SAMIDORI or MATSUKAZE from Yamamasa Koyamaen (Latte grade)
