THE EASIEST HOMEMADE MAC AND CHEESE

Most mac and cheese recipes aren’t exactly difficult, but they do require dealing with a large pot of boiling water—along with constantly checking the macaroni to prevent overcooking.

Not hard, but a bit labor-intensive.

With this easy mac and cheese recipe, your Tiger multi-cooker takes care of both the macaroni and the rest of the ingredients for you.

Yes, it’s that simple!

But don’t mistake “easy” for “basic.”

This rich and flavorful mac and cheese gets an extra umami kick from a touch of soy sauce, while green peas and red pepper add a burst of color and texture.

YUM!

HOW TO MAKE MAC AND CHEESE IN A MULTI-COOKER

The best thing about this multi-cooker mac and cheese—aside from how delicious it is—is the effortless preparation. Simply add the macaroni, veggies, and water to the inner pot of your Tiger multi-cooker, select Programmed Menu #15, and press Start.

Perfectly cooked macaroni and veggies? Done.

Then, once the rice cooker switches to Keep Warm mode, the magic happens. Stir in the spices, cheese, and milk, close the lid, and let everything melt together. A few minutes later, another quick stir will reveal the most indulgent, ooey-gooey mac and cheese, ready to serve.
