Ingredients

  • 2-28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes, drained
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Place all the ingredients in the multi-cooker inner pot and stir.
  • Close the lid and select the Programmed Menu No.18 and press [START] key.
  • When the cooking is done, transfer the sauce to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Serve over your favorite pasta.

By selecting Programmed Menu #18 and pressing Start, the cooking process begins—no need to stand over a bubbling stovetop pot, second-guessing whether the sauce is ready or needs more time to develop its deep, rich flavors. The multi-cooker does all the work!

Once the timer sounds, the sauce can be transferred to a blender or food processor and blended until smooth.
