A VEGAN BREAKFAST TO KEEP YOU ENERGIZED THROUGHOUT THE DAY

It’s often said that starting the day with a hearty breakfast is essential—and we couldn’t agree more!

This berry oatmeal is packed with nutrients to fuel your body while delivering incredible flavor.

Steel-cut oats provide a nutty richness, complemented by the bright tartness of berries (frozen berries work perfectly after a quick thaw) and just the right amount of brown sugar for sweetness.

For this vegan oatmeal, oat milk has been used, but substitutions like soy milk, almond milk, or even dairy milk can be made based on preference. No matter the choice, the result will be a delicious and satisfying breakfast!

DIFFERENT TYPES OF OATMEAL

Not all oatmeal is the same, and you may have noticed the variations.

Rolled oats, which include old-fashioned oats and quick-cooking oats, differ from steel-cut oats in processing. Steel-cut oats are less processed, offering a heartier, chewier texture that many find more satisfying.

Since this recipe specifically calls for steel-cut oats, a longer cooking time is typically required—but with this simple method, they can be prepared at the press of a button!

HOW TO MAKE OATMEAL IN A MULTI-COOKER

To prepare, steel-cut oats, water, salt, and oat milk should be added to the inner pot of the Tiger multi-cooker and stirred. The Oatmeal (Steel Cut) preset can then be selected before pressing Start.

That’s all there is to it! The rice cooker will take care of the rest.

While the oatmeal is cooking, there’s time to take a shower, enjoy a cup of coffee, or even grab a few extra minutes of sleep.

Once breakfast is ready and loaded with berries, the day can begin with energy and focus!
